Camel Valley makes the front page
Matthew Jukes names Camel Valley his 'favourite English winery' and lists Pinot Noir Rose Brut as best festive fizz.
"This wine is made by my favourite English winery and it has an intriguing label. This time it’s not what is written on the label, but what isn’t that makes it so fascinating. Winemakers Bob and Sam Lindo simply call this stunning wine by its red grape name – Pinot Noir. But like the Léoube above you cannot help the red grape skins colouring the juice and in this wine they actively encourage it, so this is a full blown rosé in all but name. This is Britain’s finest rosé and it is truly world class. Camel Valley take a bow!"
