CAMEL VALLEY WIN SOUTH WEST ‘WINE OF THE YEAR’
4TH SEPTEMBER 2006Camel Valley winemakers are celebrating the award of 3 trophies from the South West Wine of the Year competition held at Morville Hall on Sunday 3 September 2006.
Camel Valley were awarded the best sparkling wine trophy, the best dry wine trophy and the overall ‘Wine of the Year’ trophy for their 2003 Camel Valley Atlantic Dry.
The South West is the biggest wine region in the UK and includes Gloucester, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Cornwall and Wales. Said proprietor Bob Lindo: ‘It’s a very fierce competition with all of the top wineries in the South West involved and we’re delighted to have won the top trophy once again’.
